Band offer Viva La Vida earlier

07 May 2008 - Coldplay gave away their new single for free for a week and now they are offering a track early.

If you pre order the band’s new album now, you will get a gratification track - Viva La Vida - early.

Two million

This comes after two million people downloaded the new single Violet Hill since it was put on their website recently.

Initially, the website crashed under the demand of people wanting the single but it's now up and running.

The new album, Viva La Vida or Death and all his Friends, is due out on 12 June.

Dates

The band will play London's Brixton Academy on 16 June, and New York on 23 June.

They will also play Barcelona at some point.
