Band to perform new tunes in Dublin

07 May 2008 - CSS have told 6 Music they are playing several new material on their MTV spanking new music tour.

The Brazilian electro-rock outfit are playing in Dublin on Wednesday 7 May and Lovefoxx said the TV channel has let them play plenty of new material.

New songs

She said: “We are desperate to play the new songs – so MTV allowed us to play 30 percent of new songs.

“We’re just waiting for the record to be released because we cant wait to start playing the new songs.”

New album

When asked what their new album is like, she said: “It’s not like we have become like a different band. I think it really sounds like us - of course the subjects are not the same.

“We have no theme at all – like ‘oh we should do this and that’. I think it’s more energetic, it sounds more alive.”

CSS are going to be releasing their new album Donkey in July.
