Blur reunion not off cards

Alex James speaks of band and solo work

28 May 08 - A Blur reunion could happen in the future, according to former member Alex James.

Alex spoke to 6 Music about the Brit Pop band and how they might work together one day again.

He said: “We’re all pretty busy but I’ll be surprised if it never happens – but I would be terrified if it was happening on Monday.”

Other musical projects

Alex talked about the subject whilst he was supporting the Cocaine Shared Responsibly initiative between Colombia and the UK, in the form of a photographic exhibition in Trafalgar Square on 21 May.

On the subject of his other musical projects, he said: “I’ve got a guy called Julian coming down next week. I’m looking forward to that.

“He has kind of mad afro hair, whipper snapper. Just writing a few songs. It will be nice.”
