Danger Mouse talks to 6 Music
21 April 2008 - Gnarls Barkley disappointed fans recently by cancelling a string of dates in the UK, but according to Danger Mouse they will be back - soon.The group had been due to perform a sold-out show at 229 in London at the beginning of April in support of their new album The Odd Couple .
In a statement, the band said: “Cee-Lo Green decided at short notice to remain in the States alongside his wife and children, and is thus now unable to travel to the UK as scheduled.”
But speaking to 6 Music Danger Mouse said: “We are trying to reschedule, it was really unfortunate that we didn’t make it over here, as a whole, but we are definitely wanting to come back again – we do actually really like it over here.”

Despite a busy schedule which includes producing Martina Topley Bird, Black Keys and working on the next Beck album, Danger Mouse revealed he had no plans to break from music or the live scene for a while: “I do both, I work really hard and then I do other things really hard too, so you would never know in the morning that I was working the night before!”
