29 April 2008 - Violet Hill, Coldplay’s first single from their new album Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends, will be played for the first time on BBC 6 Music at 12.15pm today (29 April).It will also be simultaneously available to download free exclusively from www.coldplay.com for one week (a full seven days ahead of its general digital release on 6 May).

Free concerts
Coldplay will also be playing two free concerts, one at London's Brixton Academy on 16 June and one at Madison Square Garden in New York on 23 June.
