2 September 2008 - Coldplay score for nominations at this year’s Q Awards, leading a pack that includes U2, Oasis, Muse, Metallica and Kings of Leon.Chris Martin’s outfit are up for four nominations - Best Act In The World Today, Best Track, Best Video and Best Album at the annual event.
Other multiple nominees include The Ting Tings are also up for three gongs (Best New Act, Best Track and Best Video), while newcomers Fleet Foxes, The Last Shadow Puppets and Vampire Weekend are in the running for two apiece.
